Creator Agreement
Effective Date: June 12, 2026. This agreement outlines the terms, royalty distributions, and asset ownership between independent creators and the CHERD platform.
20% Designer Royalty Split & Direct Payouts
Every creator is entitled to a 20% royalty share on all physical product sales featuring their approved designs. Funds accumulate in real-time in the Creator Wallet.
All design uploads must adhere strictly to our technical parameters (minimum 300 DPI, transparent PNG/SVG format). Mockup placement rules must be respected, and designs must not contain copyrighted materials, offensive illustrations, or non-original assets.
Creators retain full primary ownership of their visual artwork. By submitting a design, you grant CHERD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing license to print, market, distribute, and sell apparel featuring your artwork.
CHERD handles all raw garment sourcing, custom printing, storage, packaging, customer support, and worldwide logistics. Return shipping for defective items is absorbed by CHERD, and doesn't impact creator wallet balances unless fraudulent activity is detected.
Either party may terminate the partnership at any time. Upon design deactivation, CHERD will cease production of new items containing the design. However, orders already in the manufacturing queue will be fulfilled, and creator royalties will be paid out accordingly.
